Pear Tree Music
Sample the music from Captive Thought, the worship team of Rocky Mountain Community Church, our sister church in Billings, Montana. Captive Thought aims to develop doctrinally-sound, singable music for congregations for two reasons. First, the theology promoted by many contemporary choruses often falls short of a careful, biblical standard. Second, the music of theologically-rich hymns is sometimes uninspiring or hard for congregations to sing. Some of these songs-like "Sanctus", "Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted," and "Come, You Sinners, Poor and Wretched"-have become congregational favorites at Gallatin Valley Presbyterian Church.

RUF Online Hymnbook
This web site shares samples of some of the rich music that has developed within our various Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) chapters over the last 25 years. This music connects with something real and solid, something that is ancient, yet full of passion. Putting old hymns to new music allows us to hear afresh the rich theology and emotion that fill these hymns. Some of these songs, like "Psalm 130" and "O Love That Will Not Let Me Go," have become congregational favorites at Gallatin Valley Presbyterian Church.
