Why is church planting a part of our vision? For two reasons:

First, church planting is biblical. God loves the church and has ordained her to be the agent of redemption in the world. The church is plan A, and there is no plan B. From the time of the New Testament, missionaries have started new congregations from which to share the Gospel to a desperate and hurting world.

Second, church planting is strategic. Church planting is the most effective way of introducing the Gospel to the unchurched. New churches are far more likely to establish connections in a local community through new ministries. These connections provide a platform to share the Gospel and impact the community. Thus, statistics show new church plants are often more effective at communicating the gospel to unbelievers.
