Get to Know Us: OUR VISION
Why have a vision statement?
Who are we? If you want to get to know us, start with our vision statement. It reflects and shapes the overall culture of our church family-the unique "feel" or "flavor" of our community.
Our vision articulates how our particular local congregation hopes to contribute to the universal mission of the global church. Our vision provides a specific plan-unique to our church body at our time and in our community-that specifically outlines how our church family will seek to accomplish the broader mission God has given his church.
In other words, our vision defines our philosophy of ministry. It forms a mind-set in harmony with the direction of the church, providing a deeper dynamic of unity in the cause of the gospel.

We believe that glorifying God through knowing Christ and making Him known should be the all-encompassing passion and purpose of our lives.
To this end, we will emphasize a Christ-centered focus with a relational emphasis and a worship style that integrates the richness of our heritage and the relevance of the Gospel in our ever-changing culture.
We will seek to grow together through the blessings of the covenant community - growth groups, one-on-one discipleship, shepherding - as well as through the biblical mandates of peacemaking, every-member ministry, and liberty of conscience.
We will go to the world by way of campus ministry, church planting, and international missions. Our community outreach will emphasize relational evangelism and ministries of mercy.
This vision rests upon the supernatural work of Jesus Christ who is building His church according to His promise, through His Spirit's work in our lives.
